The present study described about Piperine, A Remarkable Marker with Intense Biological Activity. The primary component of black pepper, piperine, which is also known as the "king of spices," is a member of the Piperaceae family and is used as a medicinal herb. Chemically, piperine (C17H19NO3) is a weak base with a variety of therapeutic benefits. The main biological effects of piperine include antioxidant 2, antitumor, antiasthmatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antidiarrheal, anxiolytic, antidepressant, hepatoprotective, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-metastatic, and anti-thyroid.
