The population dynamics of Lytocestus longicollis (Rama Devi, 1973) has been worked out. The higher incidence, intensity, density, index of infection and dominance percentage during summer months in fishes (Clarias batrachus) have been discussed thoroughly in the light of recent researches. Plausible reasons have also been given.
