A new Cystidicolid nematode Pseudospinitecius hot/al gen.et sp.nov. was collected from Ne,nachei/us houa (Ham.) at Kanpur. Specimen ‘vas showing resemblance wii the genus Spin/teems Fourment. 18X3: Neuspinitecius Kalyankar. 1971: and Prospiniteelus Petter. 1979 in the presence of spin) annulations at the anterior end of worm’s body. lowe er. it diffei’s from ahoe mentioned three genera in the absence ol’ spiny and cuticlar annulations in the center 1/3 portion ol body, presence of oseophagio—intestinal valves and cuticular annulations ut posterior 1/3 portion of body. It is again distinguished from Aeosplniieetus Kal)ankar. 1971 in the absence ot simple ( ithout spines) lirst ring.
