Abstract

This chapter is about the increasing popularity of corporate governance which includes some
theoretical frameworks in order to examine corporate governance closely. Corporate
governance is spread to the extent that it has become one of the most used phrases in the
world of business which is recognized internationally. This increases the query, is corporate
governance a crucial component of a profitable commercial enterprise or is it virtually some
other fad with a purpose to fade away over the years? there was one more case in the
history of ethical business that gained a lot of attention internationally which is known as
Enron an American company that faced failure due to non-ethical conditions and proved the
importance and role of corporate governance in business. It has been forecasted by
researchers that corporate governance will not lose its existing recognition and importance in
the future, in fact, it will increase with time. The field matures, a long way extra definition and
readability are being accomplished concerning the character of company governance. In this
chapter, we consider the broad-ranging nature of corporate governance and the various
approaches to defining the concern. We talk about company governance from a theoretical
attitude.
