Abstract

In this section, the resonances of prolate and oblate spheroidal bodies are investigated.
Hydroacoustics, as a rule, studies the distant scattered fields of various bodies. Pressure in a
scattered wave s p (scattered pressure) of the circular frequency ω in the Fraunhofer zone (far field) in
an unbounded liquid for the final body can be represented in the form [1–3]:
