Abstract

This book studies with various problems of the synchronization on Lur'e dynamical networks. In whole
work, different types of pinning control strategies are employed in order to synchronize the Lur'e
dynamical networks. Based on the Lyapunov approach, sufficient criteria for different types of
synchronization on the Lur'e dynamical networks are obtained. And numerical simulations are
presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main results. In conclusion, this book mainly
contains the following four categories.
Firstly, it considers the problem of cluster synchronization for delay coupled Lur'e dynamical
networks under pinning control. In view of cluster topologies in the dynamical network, only
those Lur'e systems which have direct connections to the other clusters are artificially
controlled. According to delay interval dividing methods, the convex combination theorem,
S-procedure and the definition of delay rate, sufficient conditions for local and global cluster
synchronization of the Lur'e dynamical networks are derived, respectively, by applying the pinning
controller.
