Abstract

A complex system could be viewed as a system consisted of many components which interconnected
with each other. It has been deeply studied during the past two decades due to its wide applications in
engineering fields, such as smart communication systems, the power grid, parallel image processing,
robotics and automation and manufacture process control. As a special example of complex systems,
complex network is composed of many elements, called nodes or systems, in which all of the systems
are interacted with each other through the connections. Complex networks always display some
substantial nontrivial topological features, such as a heavy tail in the degree distribution, a high
clustering coefficient, assortativity or disassortativity among nodes, community structure and
hierarchical structure, see [1,2] and references therein. Except these topological features, collective
behaviors of a complex network also draw extensive attention by researchers from different areas
including mathematics, computer science, physics, sociology, economics, biology and others
