Abstract

This study established the pattern of development of clinical Tibiofemoral Angle in normal adolescents of the South-South region of Nigeria so as to provide useful information to parents, physiotherapists and physicians to prevent unnecessary apprehension or unnecessary diagnostic measurements. Clinical Tibiofemoral (TF) in normal Nigerian Adolescents of the South-South region was measured (132 males and 268 females) aged from 10 to 16 years. In this study, Tibiofemoral angle was higher in boys (18.8˚) than in girls (15.59˚) Values above these may require careful follow-up and evaluation.
