Abstract
By a sub-supersolution argument and a perturbed argument, we improve the earlier resultsconcerning the existence of ground state solutions to a quasilinear elliptic problem−div(|∇u|p−2∇u) +p(x)|∇u|q=f(x,u),u > l≥0,x∈RN,lim|x|→∞u(x) =l,wherep≥2,q > p−1,p(x)∈Cαloc(RN)for someα∈(0,1)is non-negative andf:RN×(0,∞)→[0,∞)is a locally H ̈older continuous function which may be singular at zero
